Corporate Profile
Iscreenworld is a niche digital sign developer with over 25 years of experience in the travel information industry. Our first unit, built in 1982, was a large 6' x 4' flat board containing 20 squares for advertisements, a map and a telephone. The idea was simple: give the traveler the opportunity to book a hotel room or other service using our FREE direct-connect telephone. He or she also had the opportunity to see (on the map) where they were and where they wanted to go. We had 86 of these very successful units up and running throughout The United States and Canada. We diverted off the U.S. component in 2004. Since then we have concentrated all our efforts on running the three Canadian units while developing the digital sign technology. We now have several thousand hours of software development completed and are continually revamping it through our R&D department. At present we have three successful deployments. One is with Via Rail Canada at Pacific Station Vancouver, B.C. The second is with The Tsawwassen Quay Market at the BC Ferries Terminal in Tsawwassen, B.C. The third deployment is at the BC Ferries Swartz Bay Terminal in Saanich, north of Victoria, B.C. The company has a firm expansion plan to add several more locations every year. The company is also looking at expanding through licensed associates throughout the world. Iscreenworld, with its copyrighted technology, is the only software in the world offering large screen touch information with such depth and uniqueness. The company has the experience to become a major player in the travelers information industry. |
